New Design Sneak Peek

Well hello again! I know, it’s been a while, but that is because I’ve been a rather busy chap! I’ve more or less completed my third week at the new job and it’s been quite rounded.
Disclaimer: This is a post written for the blog's previous design, so quality, length and formatting might not be great. Sorry.
When the day is done
Working through my task list, making changes to stuff from client feedback, and even getting my hands dirty with illustrator (something that doesn’t happen too often!).
Bold with lots of colour
At 5:30pm-ish (for anyone interested) I have been going home, after getting something to eat, going for a workout at the gym (I’m training for a 10k run in hull). I’ve settled down in-front of my computer, to slowly, but surely, get my latest and greatest (but of course I’m going to think it’s great!) design for my personal website finished so that it can be appreciated by anyone who wants to look at it…
A while ago, I wasn’t feeling as creative or as arty as I think I should, so to try and get my juices going I decided that I needed to do something out of my comfort zone. The progressive adoption of HTML5 and CSS3 rendering in the latest browsers made my decision of what I should work on that would be out of said comfort zone, very easy.
As much as I like my other web offering (jamiewright.net) as I feel it’s got a very clean style, I do think it’s a bit on the boring side… I really think that my latest offering is a country mile away from “yawnsville”, with what I’m told by Dave and Kerry is my signature “bold-with-lots-of-colour” style.

So, I’ve got a couple of tweaks left before I can think to myself that I’m done! but before it does go live, I’m giving it a private air with the guys at work, see if they recommend any changes, (I’ve not got any links with underlines, so it should at least pass one of James’ tests haha) decide if I’m going to take any notice of their opinion (joke), then hopefully get it launched in the next couple of days ![]()
Any comments just from this peek are greatly welcome as ever!
that's all folks!
